Your queries are not stored by Annlex. Research queries are transmitted to Anthropic’s Claude API for AI processing — Anthropic operates as a data subprocessor and does not use API data to train its models. Under Anthropic’s standard API policy, query data may be retained temporarily per their API and Data Retention policy. Annlex is pursuing a Zero Data Retention (ZDR) arrangement with Anthropic, which would ensure no query data is held at rest after your response is returned — an architecture that MCP-based legal AI tools are categorically ineligible for.
